Frog Tape Comparison
Frog Tape with it's "PaintBlock" technology, prevents paint bleed under the tape edges. Good for painting stripes, graphics or other faux finishes.
When to Remove Masking Tape?
When painting stripes or graphics with latex paint, where you are using the tape to create a straight line, you should remove masking tape while the paint is wet, before the paint skins over and develops a film. If you wait until the paint dries over the tape, you may have a problem with the paint tearing and peeling off the wall when removing the tape.
If the tape is left down, and the paint dries over it, you should carefully score the paint at the tape edge to cut it free, before carefully removing the tape. Use a spackle knife on the paint, at the tape edge, to help prevent the paint from pulling off with the tape as you remove it.

What is Frog Tape?
Frog Tape is treated with an expandable "PaintBlock" material on the tape edge. When the tape comes in contact with wet latex paint during the painting process, the PaintBlock will expand and fill the micro voids between the tape and the surface, preventing paint from bleeding underneath the tape.
